free the bears has rescued hundreds of bears from a life of torture or death. in many countries bears are poached for their meat, made to dance for tourists, or used to harvest their bile. all of these things involve unspeakable cruelty and torture for the bears, these practises must be stopped and in many places several species of bears are now endangered.
